Amahl and the Night Visitors Opening December 4th
The cast and crew are ready! The stage is ready! Amahl and the Night Visitors will run on December 4th & 5th, 11th & 12th, and 18th & 19th. COVID protocols will be in place for the health and safety of everyone attending a performance. All cast, crew and theater personnel have been vaccinated. The audience for each performance is 200 persons and adherence to public health precautions will be in place including:
Audience members wearing masks at all times in Park Square Theatre; and
Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the performance.
Setting the Stage for Eugene Onegin
Skylark Opera Theatre is proud to announce that Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin will be on-stage at The Museum of Russian Art in Minneapolis, March 25-27 and April 1-3, 2022. Gary Briggle will once again bring his directing talents to Skylark Opera Theatre for an exciting adaptation of this story of unrequited love and social class conflicts among four young people in Russia, circa 1820, with deep contemporary resonance. A shy country girl becomes infatuated with an arrogant visitor from the big city, with tragic consequences.
In-person auditions will be held on December 6,7 and 9 from 6-9 pm, at the First Unitarian Society, 900 Mount Curve Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55403. Additional information can be found at this link.
