Be an Advocate for the Arts

Skylark Opera Theatre and the Minnesota arts community need YOU! A National Endowment for the Arts survey highlights the need for arts enthusiasts to express their support, revealing that since the COVID pandemic, an average of 3 U.S. performing arts organizations close their doors each month. Some of those closings are here in Minnesota.

The Minnesota arts community has enjoyed the support of our Congressional delegation and the state legislature. Every year brings new challenges, though, and the support of everyone is needed to keep our vibrant arts community alive! Help support Skylark Opera Theatre and all of the arts organizations throughout the state. Minnesota Citizens for the Arts has announced a special Arts Action Week in March; there will be an in-person rally in the Capitol Rotunda on Tuesday, March 5th. Read more about the rally and Arts Action Day on MCA’s website.
