Sip of Opera: D’une Femme celebrates the music of Joseph Boulogne (Chevalier de St. Georges), France’s answer to Mozart, and William Grant Still, a luminary of the Harlem Renaissance. Soprano Tiana Sorenson brings their music to life in her Skylark debut, accompanied by Skylark’s Artistic Director James Barnett on the piano. In a unique twist on wine pairings, 2017 Food & Wine Sommelier of the Year Erin Rolek has carefully chosen wines to complement the opera selections. Coming in April—Sundays at Landmark: Skylark Presents Zarzuela!

Skylark’s annual FREE program at the Landmark Center on Sunday, April 6th offers a rare chance to experience the lively Spanish operatic genre Zarzuela. Soprano Lily Guerrero curates and sings a program of Zarzuela music, joined by four other artists and accompanied by James Barnett on the piano. You and your family will love this entertaining performance in a beautiful St. Paul historic setting.
