Read MoreJune is here and the lazy days of summer have arrived! Here in Minnesota summer is off to a great start. Skylark for Seniors is off to a great start, too! Performances begin this month, starting at Ebenezer’s Ridges campus in Burnsville. Seniors love the music and our performers love being in front of an audience—it’s a mutual admiration society! Skylark for Seniors is supported by generous grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board and the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council. Thanks also to our individual, foundation and corporate donors, who have made our summer and fall programming possible.

What a year 2020 turned out to be! The lights dimmed on on what would have been Skylark Opera Theatre’s 40th year of intimate, professionally staged opera and music theater. We placed our celebration plans on hold, but we’re back in 2021! Artistic Director Bob Neu and all our performers are energized to be in front of audiences again.
